| It blocks non infra red and functions as mentioned in the description. I bought it for my Sony HDR-SR11 camcoder and I use it with the night vision mode. I am yet to use it for serious photography or movies. |
Works great

| I use this filter on both a video recorder and a camera. I use this filter on the video recorder as the camera needs a different dimension. Those who are looking to purchase this item please ignore what the one said about not being able to see anything. Obviously did something wrong. I have no issues. You must use this in sunlight. I have tried it indoors and you cannot see anything. That's not why I bought this and surely wasn't to see through clothing. |
Fantastic Filter

This is my very first lens filter. I'm just amazed at what a world it's opened for me. White grass and black skies are really jaw-dropping.
I highly recommend this for anyone who needs an infrared filter. It's also fun just to use this attached to your camera in movie mode. However, I have yet to "see" through clothes, or my skin, or anything else for that matter. Then again, I live in Seattle where strong infrared light is hard to come by...
So once more, get this if you need one! It's cheap and solid. It does not disappoint! |
